Laboni Point Beach

Laboni Point Beach is considered the central, most iconic, and oldest main sea beach point in Cox's Bazar. Located right in the heart of Cox's Bazar town, it serves as the primary focal point for most tourists visiting the world's longest continuous natural sandy beach. Renowned for its lively atmosphere, wide sandy shoreline, and gentle ocean waves, Laboni Point offers an ideal setting for sea bathing, strolling along the shore, and relaxing under beach umbrellas (Kitatol). Adjacent to the beach is the famous Laboni Beach Market, where visitors can shop for local Burmese products, traditional handmade shell crafts, dried fish (Shutki), and beachwear. In the evenings, the point lights up with bustling crowds enjoying fresh seafood, horseback riding, speed boating, and breathtaking views of the sunset over the Bay of Bengal. Due to its proximity to major hotels, resorts, and tourist police check-posts, it is the safest and most accessible beach area in Cox's Bazar.
